The book is very good, it has some good tips and almost every chapter goes straight to the point, although the chapters are too short. It really show me a different way of how to approach a women; I recommend it!!!

This book is the worst of 5 books I have purchased and read from amazon. com. This has incredibly basic stuff like make sure to shower and brush your teeth if you want to succeed with women. The Game, The Layguide, The Mystery Method, The Professional Bachelor, and Irresistible Attraction are much better suited to guys who want to succeed with meeting and landing women, and you don’t have to be sleazy to do it. Dating is a game, and women do have the advantage. Those books helped a nice guy to know the right things to do and say to do very well with women. This book, Understanding Women, DID NOT. Romy Miller and all women would like it if more men behaved the way she is instructing you to behave. That would ensure that women will continue to have the advantage, and men will continue to kiss their behinds. That is just my 2 cents. Thanks.

quite good book.
It’s my fourth book on the subject.
Usefull to understand women point of view and expectations in dating and, later on, in the early stage of a relationship.
Nothing really new, only common sense, you can say, yes but some time this is what really needs.
No pick up lines, no techniques, no speed up dating. It shoots higher: developing the right attitude to deal healthy with women: be confident, improve yourself, be always honest and loyal, never revenge.
Easy to be read. More emphasys on some topics will be appreciated. It’s worth the reading.
To make a further step in women’s head I suggest reading: Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus.

The first trespass was the apple from the tree of knowledge. Since then it has been E-entertainment television and any other form of media worship. I can’t count the number of women I’ve met that claim they have a learning disorder. The research on math ability shows that women on average only have a slight deficiency and this doesn’t take into consideration the normal dsitribution of mathmatical aptitude. The question begs are women cognitive misers at all costs? We are too soft on women. I rarely see any women on the streets. Most of them are in half way houses. Why do you think men are importing Russians. They are better looking and are willing to work. This takes me to a new conclusion that it is the American cultural influence that has made things this way? Unfortunately this situation is un American. We are a capitalist society and eventually this inefficiency of men paying for women and being the pack animal for society will have to end. As brothers and fathers we have raised our women to be lazy. We give incentive to use sex as bargaining chips for favors. Do men really need sex more than women? The myth has been dispelled. I recently read a book titled Understanding Women: The Definitive Guide. It paints the picture that women are whores and that men just have to deal with it. She says it without saying it. Buy a manly car, get your own place, and buy gifts. Lets see, that means if you are a 25 – 30 year old who has a masters degree and lives in southern california, no women want you. What troubles me is that her opinion may be reflective of the cosmopolitan woman. No wonder there are so many women on prozac. Get a clue. The world doesn’t revolve around you. Child bearing isn’t that noble. You only risk your life for a few hours during child birth while there are countless underpaid men fighting for your country risking there lives everyday, not to mention experiencing signficant psychological damage. The author Romy Miller is an obssesive compulsive self-centered demon. I doubt she is married. Probably never will be. You don’t nee your own apartment to get laid. My roommate turns around plenty of chicks here and man are some of them loud. She also says if you drive a Civic your a loser. If a man has his own place in southern California today, he probably can’t afford anything better than a civic. Real estate is too high. If men needed there own place to get laid, then women would simply have to masterbate, its just too expensive for most. Then she goes on to say if you don’t do what she says you might as well stay home and read your comic books. I got in trouble with my last date because I didn’t know anything about comics. I think Romy Miller is a loser who went to a 4th tear college and never really understood what her professors were teaching her. She can’t even keep her opinions from contradicting each other. Stay away from this low end pop psychology book. It will turn you into a loser and a self-hater.

This book presents some very helpful information in an abrupt style. There are many good points, and Miller uses numerous real life examples to reveal some mistakes that are often made by men. However, it is obviously a publish-yourself book that nobody spent too much time editing. It is riddled with spelling and grammar errors.
