Not very deep, but is a good starter book for Christian couples. Covers a broad range of topics and is easy to read. Probably not a good book for long time Christians, as they will not get much out of it.

My boyfriend and I have been using this book for the last 1. 5 months and we have really learned a lot. I think what makes this book different from a lot of other couples devotional books is that they stress that each individual needs to be strong in their own walks with God before their relationship can be centered around God.
The book goes spends a week focused on different characteristics of God that we should exhibit in our daily lives through every type of relationship with people. Then at the end of the week, it directs us to meet with our opposite to talk about how we can push each other to grow and how we can exhibit that same quality to each other as well as others. I think it’s really important to be able to be strong individually and then as a couple.
The book was great and I’ll look for more from this author in this style.

I really enjoyed this book. My boyfriend and I went through it and it definetely helped us draw nearer to God and to each other. I believe he enjoyed it as well. It’s great for relationships that are in any stage-whether newly dating, engaged, or even married.

This book is a really good starter for couples who want to get serious in their spiritual life and create a spiritual bond and more serious relationship. We didn’t agree with some of the recommended structure but still made it work for our level of relationship as we were already engaged and spiritually close.
Again, a good starter but for those already looking at marriage and have maybe already faced some hard times together, a more in-depth, less generic study would be better.

I bought this book for me and my girlfriend for Christmas. We have been dating from 1 year and 6 months. We are now on our 4th week and it has really opened my eyes to a lot of different things. I love the way it is set up: personal devotions through the week, and a couple devotion on Saturdays. It also encourages you to attend a church on Sundays, and provides a page to take notes. This has been a great way for us to put God first in our relationship! Our love for God and each other grows stronger each day!
