I was definitely a cute vampire romance, but there are better ones out there that really got my attention and had more going for them.
Needless to say, I had high hopes for this book since the description was so good.
Maybe the sequel will be better?

An inferior rip off of Mary Janice Davidson’s Wed books. If she just toned down the Sex in the City dingbat -Chick Lit silliness the book might have actually been interesting. Too much about the clothing,shoes, shopping. Avoid paying full price

Its a Betsy rip-off & not a very good one at that (granted the Betsy series has tanked the last few books). I really was looking forward to a new vamp series but this one isn’t it. How many times do I have to read about a “designer” shoe, outfit, etc. Who cares???? Give me a story with likeable characters that are interesting ~ not so one-dimensional. Definitely not reading the next one.

There are two types of vampires. Born and Made, born are like your Rockefeller’s and Kennedy’s, etc. Made aren’t. Born vampires can procreate, and made cannot.
Now in less you consider that a born vampire is probably who “made” them. (those dirty little secrets) Born vampires do not mate with a made vampire.
So to sum it up Born vampires are a bit on the snobby side. And DO NOT mix with Made vampires.
Lil Marchette is a born vampire but not so much like the rest. She wants to make it on her own. With a dating service for vampires both made and born, and humans too. And if she doesn’t start making some acceptable matches her business is going to go under. And to top off matters there is a serial killer targeting human single women. And he may be using dating services like hers to meet his “type”. Just what she needs to have her clients ending up dead. . . . well that is the ones that aren’t already dead. . . . .
In walks is Ty Bonner. He’s a bounty hunter after the serial killer, gorgeous, and a made vampire. And he makes her knees weak. . . . . (remember cant make little vampire’s) and LiL will not settle for less then all. She doesnt have time for an affair. She is a serious career women who is looking for her own eternity mate.
So why does she keep trying to hide every time her mother tries to match her up with an acceptable Born vampire?
